Another addition to the fleet

Phase 3 P40 Warhawk EP

Specs:
39 1/2" Wingspan
710grm Flying weight
Brushless motor
5ch Rudder, Elevator, Ailerons, Motor and Retracts

Ready to fly out of the box foamie.

I am quite impresed with this little model, it's nicely presented and is pretty much ready to go, all you need to do is fit the tail (4 screws), connect the elevator and rudder, and plug the various pre-installed servos into your chossen RX, even the extention leads for the ailerons and retracts are included.

No, not at all, pretty reasonable @ £130 includes 3S Lipo, just add your own RX and Xtal.

Yes, I did read your post, very sad, I'm sure I did know him, I'm struggling to put a face to the name though.

I can report that the P40 flies very well even though it was a bit windy for this type of model, take off from a well mown grass strip, not a problem, did manage to rip one of the retracts out when landing, I hit a divot, easy 5 min repair and back flying again.

Andy - I have just bought the Parkzone P51 Gunfighter brushless
Excellent piece of kit, flies superbly and around 7 minutes on 3s 1300
I like it that much I am looking for something else to go with it - must be nimble

Any ideas?

Not sure JJ, the Phase 3 P40 is about the same scale but the performance is realistic as opposed to nimble, you have to work the model all the time, I'm looking at the Starmax A10, quite expensive for a foamy jet at over £200 but it is ready to go.
