Blackburn Midsummer rally 11/12/and 13th June

Blackburn and District Model Aircraft Club are pleased to announce that the 2010 Midsummer rally will once again take place at Pleasington Playing Fields, Tower Road, Blackburn, BB2 5LE. Lancashire. Relaxed flying off the peg with slots arranged for traders, jets and large models. Flying from Friday afternoon through to Sunday evening. Night flying for electric models Friday and Saturday nights with a BBQ on Saturday. Limited camping available Friday and Saturday - this is by permit only and you must contact Kevin Watson to reserve a place. BMFA and local rules will apply to models and pilots. Trade and stands welcomed. Non BMFA pilots need to speak with the organisers to arrange insurance cover for the weekend.

2.4GHz and 35MHZ in use but note on 35 Mhz ODD numbers are to be preferred for fixed wing and EVEN numbers for rotary wings.

All aircraft types can be catered for - 2 flying areas in use over the weekend.

Why not come along to one of Lancashires' finest country parks, support a good cause and enjoy the host club hospitality? Bring the family and make a day / weekend of it.

This event is in aid of the local Childrens' Hospice and all profits will be donated to Derian House in Chorley.

it was bad this year i like the bit when the bird got hit ... 3 planes crashed looked like they was being flown by 2 year olds... 1 that hit the tree and to top it of i got bird poo in my eyes when i was watching the ufo bit
